Olivia Kaufmann is double majoring in family science and criminology and criminal justice at the University of Maryland. She is an aspiring lawyer and hopes to attend law school after she graduates. She was fortunate enough to be able to travel to Rome, this summer, for a professional writing course. Olivia was able to explore many places in Italy and walked over 150 miles during the trip. She even saw someone get pickpocketed! In the beginning of the trip, Olivia struggled to find dishes she loved, but thankfully by the end, this was not the case. A fun fact about Olivia is that when she got to Rome, she expected to eat a lot of cacio e pepe, but found out that she really disliked it. Since Olivia got back home, she has been spending time with her friends, family and dog.
