Skylar Johnson is a rising sophomore at the University of Maryland, where she is a tour guide and a member of Greek Life. She got involved with the Food Blogging: Italy program out of a love of writing and Italian cuisine and it did not disappoint! During her time in Italy, she determined that her favorite dish is gnocchi and all gelato is good gelato. She also traveled to Florence, Rome, Capri, Sorrento, Naples, and Positano and loved every minute of it! She hopes that this blog will help to calm the nerves of some anxious travelers and encourage them to involve themselves in Italian culture during their time abroad.
